Taro Hakase and his wife Mayuko Hakase made an appearance on BBC calling out for everyone's understanding and support towards the recent disaster in Japan.

The piece he played is the main theme of the NHK morning drama series "TEPPAN" (composed and performed by Hakase-san himself).
